Chase, Nora A. (Shaheen) of Quincy, died December 14, 2017. Lifetime resident of Quincy. She was the wife of the late William (Bill) Chase, they were happily married for 42 years. Nora held her family close to her heart, she loved her grandchildren immensely and cherished her time with them. She loved her trips to Foxwoods with her brothers and sister. Playing cards, going on day trips, shopping, and just going out to dinner were her favorite things to do. Nora could lighten any party and often danced up a storm much to the amusement of her family.
Nora’s faith was exceedingly important to her and she was an avid parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church in Quincy her whole life. She worked for the city of Quincy for 27 years, first as a bus driver and then in the Transportation Office, until she retired.
Devoted Mother of William W. Chase Jr. and his wife, Mary of Quincy, Stephanie Coose and her husband Richard of Easton, and Christopher Chase of Quincy. Loving sister of Robert Shaheen of Plymouth, Michael Shaheen and his wife Miriam of Quincy, Donna Bertrand and her husband Peter of Quincy, sister in law Gladys Shaheen of Quincy and the late sister of Louise Nessralla, Philip, George, John, Joseph, and William Shaheen.
