Nicholas L. Kontanis

Kontanis, Nicholas L. “Nick” of Weymouth, formerly of Quincy, died October 14, 2017.

Nick loved his pets, gardening and astrology.  He was a man of strong beliefs and solid values.  His work ethic was admired by his entire family.  He will be missed by all those who loved him, especially by his sister Madelyn.

Loving brother of Madelyn J. Buchanan of Quincy.  Cherished son of the late Leon Kontanis and Lena (Tempesta).  Godson of Mary Vlachos of Peabody. Nick was also survived by his two dogs, Annie and Dylan.

A private service has been held for the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Nicholas may be made to MSPCA, Attn: Donation, 350 S. Huntington Ave., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 or a charity of your choice.
