Mascioli, Nicholas A. of Weymouth, passed away June 2, 2011. Loving father of Carol Dalesandro and her husband Louis of E. Weymouth, Patricia Gallup of Rockland, Joan Rozzi and her husband Robert of Hull, Judy Fabrizio and her husband George of Randolph, Nancy Hunnicutt and her husband Richard of Weymouth. Brother of the late Joanne Binney, Dorothy Christi, George, Albert, James, Andrew and Antonio Mascioli. Former husband of the late Margaret “Peggy” O’Connell. Nicholas is the cherished grandfather of 16 grandchildren , 34 great grandchildren and 7 great -great grandchildren. Nick was a lifelong resident of Hull. He was a self employed carpenter retiring at age 62 but continued to work well up in to his eighties. He took pride in his work as a carpenter and building many homes for families on the South Shore. He was a Called Fireman for the town of Hull for many years. Nick’s passion in life was ballroom dancing, he never passed up a chance to go out dancing. He was a member of the Weymouth Elks and the Hingham Son’s of Italy. Nick was truly a caring and compassionate person who always had a good word to say about everyone. His family will remember him as someone who could always touch your heart and make you smile. His true love was his family, embracing the good times and family gatherings. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 3-7 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Burial will be in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.
