Nicholas A. “Nick” Consolazio

Consolazio, Nicholas A. “Nick” of West Bridgewater, formerly of Quincy, died January 5, 2016. 

Nick was a WWII Navy veteran and was a boxer while serving in the Navy.  He worked for the Railroad and later for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston as a heavy mechanic.  Nick was an assistant harbor master in Quincy and had a love for boating, fishing and simply being on the water.  He was a lifetime member at Town River Yacht Club in Quincy.   He enjoyed going on cruises and especially spending time with his family.  Nick will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Beloved husband of Nancy Consolazio of West Bridgewater, formerly of Quincy.  Loving father of Catherine Consolazio of Quincy, Daniel Consolazio of Weymouth and Justina “Tina” Pettinelli and her husband Robert of Quincy.  Devoted grandfather of Peter, Lily, Nicky and Christian.  Caring brother of Mary Gallagher of Quincy, James Conso of Quincy and the late Dom Consolazio and Joe Consolazio.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-5 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. John’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:15 PM.
