Nelsy Villanueva

Villanueva, Nelsy (Kurs) of Dorchester, passed away April 23, 2024. She was born in Cuba and moved to the United States in 1960. She attended College learning skills in chemical engineering. She worked for many years as a florist. Nelsy enjoyed gardening, her dog Penny and imbibing a glass of wine and a cigarette.

Loving mother of Angelo Villanueva, Jr. and his wife Susan of Hanson, Sonia Courage of Braintree and Roy Villanueva and his wife Karen of Whitman. Cherished Na-Na of Shannon and William Courage, Rachael and Tim Clifford, Anthony and Kileigh Villanueva, Stephanie and Jack Weeks, Nicholas Villanueva, Olivia Villanueva and fiancé Luke Tamulevich and great Na-Na of Garrett and Faye Villanueva. Nelsy is predeceased by her parents Carmen and Luis Kurs, her husband Angelo Villanueva, Sr and siblings; Luis, Sonia and Rolando.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday, May 5th, 2024 from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, May 6th in the funeral home at 1 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Boston.
