Natalie Castle, 82, a long-time resident of Hull, died Monday in Victoria Villa, an assisted living residence in Davie, Florida. Mrs. Castle was born in the West End of Boston, graduated from Chelsea High School and Burdett Business School, and lived in Everett and Sharon before moving to Hull 43 years ago. She worked as a reading tutor in the Hull Public Schools, and, for 20 years, at State Street Bank in Quincy. She was an avid gardener, a talented writer, and an enthusiastic traveler. She especially loved driving long distances to be with and travel with her children and grandchildren. She was the wife of the late Joseph Castle, and is survived by her son Carl Castle of Plantation, Florida, her daughter June Castle and her husband Robert Nix of Concord, and her son Andrew Castle and his wife Dawn Israel of Hollywood, Florida. She is also survived by her grandchildren Matthew, Molly, Joanna, Kerry and Grace Nix of Concord, and Sage and Sam Castle of Hollywood, Florida. A funeral service will be held at the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald Street, Hingham, on Friday, August 24 at 11 am, to be followed by interment at Hull Village Cemetery.
