Nancy W. Burke

Burke, Nancy W. (Wagoner) of Hingham, passed away August 17, 2008 after a brief illness. Beloved wife of Paul S. Burke of Hingham. Daughter of the late Geraldine M. and Roland H. Wagoner. Loving sister of Robert Wagoner & wife Judy and Shirley Slingerland, all of Schenectady, NY. Stepmother of Paul Burke, Donna Taylor, John Burke and Brian Burke. Sister in law of Arlene Burke of Quincy, Mary Burke Simeone & husband Sal of Swampscott and Gerald Burke & wife Elizabeth of Weymouth. Nancy worked as an administrative secretary at Parent, McLaughlin and Nangle, CPA of Boston for 32 years until her illness. A sports fan, she enjoyed the Red Sox, Bruins and Nascar. She also enjoyed cooking, travel, reading and latch hook. She will be remembered as a giving person and a selfless spirit. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Friday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial in Saint Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
