Nancy Swanson

Nancy H. Swanson of Summerfield, FL,died Sunday, January 17, 2010, at the home of her daughter in Hingham, MA, following a long illness. She was the wife of Paul K. Swanson, also of Summerfield, FL who survives her. Born in Burlington, Vt., on February 8, 1928, Nancy was the daughter of the late David Willard Howe and Marjorie (Roberts) Howe of Burlington. She attended Burlington schools and the University of Vermont. She was married to Hans Lieb of Zurich, Switzerland, and was later divorced. In 1987, Nancy was married to Paul Swanson in Charlotte, Vt. In addition to her husband,Nancy leaves her two daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren: Carol Ann Lieb and her husband Edward Malouf and their children-Isabelle and George Malouf of Scituate, MA,and Marlene Soszynski and her husband Steve and their sons Eric and Andrew Soszynski of Hingham, Mass. Nancy is survived as well by her sisters, Lois H. McClure of Shelburne, Vt., and Barbara H. Tucker of Los Osos, Calif. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Sunday, Feb 7th 2 PM – 4 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald Street, HINGHAM.
