Nancy Maughn

Maughn, Ann Marie “Nancy” of Weymouth, formerly of Dorchester, died peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family and friends on August 5, 2014.

Nancy was a Registered Nurse for many years. She was a nursing professor at BC, BU, Northeastern, and Laboure. She retired from the Department of Public Health. Nancy was very proud of her nursing profession. She was a graduate of Cambridge City Hospital, School of Nursing, Boston College School of Nursing as well as Boston University School of Nursing. Nancy always enjoyed travelling. She enjoyed spending time at her home on Cape Cod. She will be sorely missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Best friend of Mary Ellen Sullivan of Weymouth. Loving sister of Joan Minton of Rockland, Elizabeth Gallant of Rocklin, CA, Margaret Elliot of PA, Robert Maughn of Needham and the late Phyllis Gerry. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Saturday from 9:15 AM-10:15 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street), followed by her Funeral Mass in Holy Family Church – Rockland, at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
