Nancy L. Scribi

Scribi, Nancy L., 96, of Quincy, formerly of Sudbury, died April 11, 2015. 

Nancy was a member of the Women’s Sewing Club for over 50 years and the Daughter’s of Italy. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, and cooking. She was a caring, independent, and creative woman. She could solve any problem. Her family was most important to her and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Beloved wife of 67 years to the late Bruno Scribi of Quincy. Devoted mother of Vincent Scribi and his wife Kathleen of Duxbury, Dorothy Mucci and her late husband Richard of Whitman and Michael Scribi and his wife Dayna of Hanover. Daughter of the late Vincent and Geneuffa (Simione) DiBiase. Predeceased by her 12 siblings. Loving Grandmother Nan of Lisa Frisoli and her husband Christopher, Andrea McCarthy and her husband Ryan, Jillian Scribi, Lauren Scribi, Marc Scribi and Scott Scribi.  Great Grandmother Gigi of Rose Frisoli, Celia Frisoli and Faye McCarthy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Nancy may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
