Nancy Doherty

Nancy (Parsloe) Doherty of Braintree, died May 25, 2019 at the age of 88.

Faith was central to Nancy’s life. She enjoyed her home and dedicated her life to her family. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting and was always working on a project for someone.

She was the beloved wife of the late William N. Doherty, Jr. Loving mother of Nancy Hurst and her late husband Kenneth of Abington and William N. Doherty, III and his wife Jane of Braintree. Devoted “Gram” to Scott Hurst and Jodie Hurst. Sister of John Matson of Roslindale, Alice MacFarlane of Weymouth, Robert Parsloe of Hanover, the late Dorothy Stuart, and the late Phyllis Murphy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as some very special neighbors.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday at 11 AM in the First Baptist Church of Abington at 219 Adams Street.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Nancy may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association, 72 East Concord Street, Boston, MA 02118 or to the New England Center and Home for Veterans, 17 Court St., Boston, MA 02108.
