Nancy E. Campagnone

Nancy E. (Carnes) Campagnone, of Braintree, passed away on March 6, 2025 at the age of 77.

Nancy was born in Boston on November 10th, 1947 and was the daughter of the late Henry Carnes, and the late Anne Carnes. She grew up in Roxbury, MA. She graduated from Girls High School in 1966.

Loving mother of Diane L. Butenas and her late husband, Todd of Brentwood, NH; Danielle Maldonado and her husband, Vapsi of Quincy, MA; John Campagnone and his partner, Dawn Stiller of Stoughton, MA. Cherished Grandmother of Shaunna Davis and her husband, Jonathan of Chester, NH; and Christian Maldonado of Quincy, MA. Adored Great Grandmother of Jackson Maldonado and Louella Davis.

Nancy was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Her family was the center of her world. She had a strong work ethic, and worked tirelessly to provide for her family. She had a 26 year career at State Street Corporation, prior to her retirement.

Nancy was selfless, generous, and always put others before herself. She was charitable, and gave what she could to her favorite charities.

Nancy had an infectious laugh and a great sense of humor. She will be immensely missed by her family, and all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Tuesday 3/11/2025 St. Clare’s Church, Braintree at 10 AM.

Entombment in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
