Nancy Ann (Moberg) Piazza
On Saturday, October 24, 2020, Nancy Ann (Moberg) Piazza of Little River, SC, loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away at age 69.
Nancy was born on December 13, 1950 in Quincy, Massachusetts to Donald and Lillian (DeAngelo) Moberg. A joyful and happy child, Nancy was third of their six children and quick with a joke and “the laugh.” Her good humor and generosity will be missed.
She graduated from Quincy High School in 1969. Later she graduated Summa Cum Laude with an Associates Degree in Accounting from Quincy College and used it widely throughout her career. On August 23, 1970, she married Robert Piazza. They were blessed with the births of three children, son, Robert (Bobby), and two daughters, Andrea and Leanne.
Nancy was vibrant, energetic and always the life of the party. She loved to travel and dance to good music, especially with her many friends and family. With her infectious laughter, she could always turn your frown upside down. As we all know… to know her is to love her.
Loving daughter of Lillian (DeAngelo) Moberg. Beloved mother to Robert S. Piazza of Vallejo, CA, Andrea K. Piazza of Norwell, MA and Leanne D. Piazza of Myrtle Beach, SC. Dear sister of Donna Andella of Weymouth, Elaine Rugh of Derry, NH, Fern Lemieux of Weymouth, Donald Moberg of Pembroke, John Moberg of Sturbridge, and Donald Nelson of St. Petersburg, FL. Proud grandmother of Victoria, Isabella, Vincent, Ava, Lyla, Giovanina and Matthew. Nancy is also survived by many friends and family.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday, October 29 from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). A memorial service will be celebrated on Friday at 3 PM in Bethany Congregational Church in Quincy. In ordinary times, a memorial service is an opportunity for the community to gather in support of one another. Although some cannot gather together with Nancy’s family at this time, friends may still offer their support by sharing a special memory or message by clicking the link above.
In memory of Nancy’s light-hearted spirit, the family asks that you raise a glass of ginger ale and do a little dance!
