Reimers, Muriel M. “Mim” (Cox) of Quincy, May 27, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Norman W. Reimers and Harold L. Peterson. Loving mother of Carol Ann Cummins of Abington, Stephen E. Peterson of Quincy and Susan M. Ginty of Abington. Loving sister of Barbara Stever of Weymouth, Eleanor Merrill of Worcester, James Cox and his wife Louise of Quincy, Donald Cox and his wife Carol of MS and the late John P. Cox, Jr., Beverley Becker, Edward Cox, Dorothy Gallo and Robert Cox. Sister in law of Isabel Cox of Rockland. Grandmother of Josh Lucas and his fiance Jaimie Gradus, Amanda Cummins, Scott & Kristen Peterson, Kaitlin, Brianne and Abigail Ginty. Great grandmother of Aiden Ginty. Dear friend to Mary & Pat Nevins, Helen Connolly, Pat Raybar and Melissa Angel. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mim’s life revolved around her loving family, especially the grandchildren. She was attentive to each of them in her own special way. Muriel has many life-long friends that became her extended family. Mrs. Reimers is a loving, outgoing and compassionate person who always put others before herself. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Boniface Church and involved in many of their activites. She worked for many years as a clerk at Barkers Stationery, Bradlee’s and Gilchrist’s, all in Quincy. Muriel enjoyed BINGO, gardening, travel and summers at Peter’s Pond in Sandwich. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St.,, Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass from Holy Trinity Parish from Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 3-7 PM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. Donations in memory of Mrs. Reimers may be made to Make-a-Wish Foundation of MA, One Bulfinch Place, 2nd Floor Boston, MA 02114.
