Morris T. “Buddy” Garvey

Morris T. “Buddy” Garvey,  of Weymouth, died June 21, 2013.

Buddy graduated from Weymouth High School in 2003. He worked as a manager for Walmart stores throughout the South Shore. He will be remembered as a kind, good hearted, and hard working man who loved spending time with family. His children, Gabriella and Issac, were the focus and love of his life.

He was the beloved significant other of Carmen Escamilla of Rockland. Son of Morris “Buddy” Ellis of Quincy and the late Karen Garvey. Grandson of the late Francis Garvey and his wife Gail. Brother of Angelo Ellis of Marshfield, Giles Ellis of Taunton and the late Sean Garvey. Nephew of Michael, Sean, Francis, and Brendan Garvey. Also survived by many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Square). A private burial will occur at a later date. Donations in Buddy’s memory may be made out to his daughter Gabriella Garvey and mailed to Rockland Federal Credit Union, 241 Union St., Rockland, MA 02370 to create an educational fund for his children.
