Germain, Mona M. (McLean) of Rockland, died February 23, 2014.
The daughter of the late John and Gladys McLean. Mona was born in Canada, raised and educated in Boston. Mona attended St. Matthew School in Codman Square and later graduated from Girls Latin School. In her early years, Mona worked as a business manager but chose to give up her career to devote all her time to raise her large family in Quincy. She had a love for animals, especially dogs. Mona’s faith was very important to her, she was a devout Catholic. She had a passion for singing and dancing. Mona also enjoyed knitting and spending her summers in Onset with her family. She will be greatly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Pre deceased by her loving husband Charles F. Germain. Beloved mother of John Germain and his wife Lynda of Rockland, Anne Foley and her late husband John of Brockton, Steven Germain of Brockton, Phyliss Germain of Rockland, Paul Germain and his wife Kathy of CT and Michele Germain of Rockland. Devoted grandmother of 7 grandchildren. Also survived by many cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday 9 -10:30 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 11 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
