Mildred “Millie” Hawes

Hawes, Mildred “Millie” (Hirtle), 92 of Hingham formerly of Holbrook, died March 27, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

She was a beloved and devoted wife of 40 years to the late Wesley M. Hawes, sister of Muriel McBurnie of Weymouth, the late Alice Jones and Elbert Hirtle, and survived by many nieces and nephews. Millie enjoyed weekends at Lake Winnipesaukee with her husband Wesley and spending time with family. She worked her entire 43 year career at State Street Bank in Boston. She will be truly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her family would like to thank the staff at Rose Court at Linden Ponds for the compassionate care and friendship they provided for Millie.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home North Weymouth, 40 Sea Street (Off Rte. 3A-Bicknell Sq.), Weymouth. Burial to be held at a later date.
