Mildred Sylvester

Sylvester, Mildred M. “Mill” (Harrington) of Weymouth, passed away peacefully November 23, 2011. Mill was a former model for I.J. Fox furrier in Boston and was employed by Jordan Marsh Department stores. Mill married William F. Sylvester,Jr and together they ran the Sylvester Motor Group and Sylvester Ambulance Service of Plymouth. Devoted daughter of the late Thomas V. and Nora E. (Park) Harrington. Loving wife of the late William F. Sylvester, Jr. Loving mother of Mildred Sylvester Carpenter of South Weymouth, and the late Claire Sylvester Litchfield. Sister of the late Peter J. Thomas F. and George H. Harrington. Cherished grandmother of Jeffrey B. Carpenter of Haverhill, Kerry B. Jackson of Waitsfield, Vt and Amy P. Markarian of Rockland. Great grandmother of Alanna, Erin, and Ilysa Carpenter and Quinn Jackson. Mill truly loved her family and friends and they meant the world to her she will be greatly missed by all of them. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM in the McDonald Funeral Home, 809 Main st, (opp So Shore Hosp) Rte. 18 Weymouth. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM.
