Mildred S. Foye

Foye, Mildred S. “Millie” (Maneikis) of Quincy, died March 13, 2015. 

Millie was the most kind and generous friend that anyone could hope for. Being a mom and raising her children was most important to her. She was a simple woman, who loved her gym classes and walks along Castle Island and Wollaston Beach. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Daughter of the late Charles and Stephanie Maneikis. Former wife of the late Thomas F. Cooney Jr. Loving mother of Thomas F. Cooney III and his wife Mary Anne Duffus of McLean, VA, Barbara E. Wiganowske and her husband Skip of Mendon, MA, James M. Cooney and his wife Susan of Pembroke, MA, and Elaine M. Cooney and Robert C. Mora of Canyon Lake, CA. Sister of the late Julia, Charles, and Janette Maneikis and Helen Punchard. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. There will be an hour prior visitation Saturday at 10 AM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial in Union Cemetery, Carver.
