Mildred Foy

Mildred I. (Duggan) Foy of Quincy, died January 10, 2017 at home surrounded by her family.  Beloved wife of 65 years to Robert E. Foy, III of Quincy. Loving mother of  Robert  E. Foy, IV  and his wife Sheila of Hanover, Mary Rooney and her husband Edward of Quincy, Nancy Capis and her husband John of Olympia, WA, Geralyn Page of Quincy and the late Susan and Jane Foy. Sister of the late Edward, William, Eleanor and Olive Duggan and Nancy Christian. She was also loved by her 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A long time Quincy resident, Mildred was a graduate of Bridgewater State College where she received her teaching degree. She worked as a school teacher for the Nahant and Canton Schools. As a devout Catholic, she was active in her beloved St. Ann’s Parish where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Mariannes. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Saturday 10 AM-12PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 12 noon prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 12:30 PM.

Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
