Mildred F. “Millie” Hogan

Hogan, Mildred “Millie” F. (O’Neill) a longtime Quincy resident died Friday, February 14, 2014. The beloved wife of the late Edward J. Hogan, Jr. who also passed away on Valentine’s Day 16 years earlier. Devoted mother of Ned Hogan and his wife Donna of Ipswich, Helen Corriero and her husband Richard of Malden, Michael Hogan of Fort Pierce, FL, Chuck Hogan of Cambridge and Theresa “Teri” Hooper and her husband Kevin of Cary, NC. Dear Sister of H. Joseph O’Neil and his wife Lil of Quincy and Betty Buckley of South Boston. Millie is the cherished Grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and dear friends at the Fenno House. Millie enjoyed bingo, bowling, playing cards and slot machines. She was always ready for the challenge of a crossword puzzle or jigsaw puzzle, but the cornerstone of her life was her faith and her family. She was devoted to all of them and in return they cherished her, they are grateful for all the blessings she brought into their lives.  Millie will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to have known her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY Thursday at 9:15 am. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 386 Hancock Street, NORTH QUINCY, Thursday at 10 am. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8pm. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
