Mildred E. Mcguinness

McGuinness, Mildred E. of Quincy, passed away on  October 13, 2016.

She was an Operator for many years for AT & T then Verizon for many years and also a member of the Telephone Workers Union. Mildred was an avid Patriots and Ohio State Football Fan. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren at family gatherings. Mildred was a Past president of the Sacred Heart Senior Citizen’s Club, enjoyed bingo, gardening.Mildred and her husband Jim loved to travel nationally and internationally especially taking a wonderful cruises. She will be dearly missed by all those that knew her.

Beloved wife of the late James A. McGuinness, Jr. Loving mother of Patricia MacLeod and her fiance, Bill Murdock, of Florida, Edward McGuinness, Ret, QFD, and his wife, Anna, of Maine, Bruce McGuinness and his wife, Peggy, of Conn. Sister of Donald Stonerock of Ohio, and Gloria Farley, of Braintree. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Pre deceased by her son, Michael Paddie, her grandson, James Paddie, and her siblings, Floyd, James, Frances, and Louella.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday from 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

Donations in memory of Mildred may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
