Bailey, Mildred B. “Millie” (Nasalski) of Abington, formerly of Dorchester and Quincy died Sunday, February 19, 2006 after a long illness. Devoted mother of Robert Bailey and his wife Cheryl (Kubera) of Abington, formerly of Quincy. Loving sister Elizabeth Niak and her husband George of Randolph, Marie Hier of Weymouth, Bernadette and her husband Charles Lane of Hull and the late Ronald Nasalski. Cherished grandmother of Mackenzie Lea and Kasie Marie Bailey. Dear cousin of George Gallagher of Hingham. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta (formerly St. Margaret Church) in Dorchester at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 2- 4 & 7- 9 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in memory of Millie may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 55584 Boston, MA 02205-5584. Mildred B. “Millie” (Nasalski) Bailey, 69, of Abington, formerly of Dorchester and Quincy, died Sunday, February 19, 2006, at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a long battle with lung cancer. Born in the Savin Hill section of Dorchester, Millie lived on Mosley Street for over thirty years until moving to Quincy six years ago. She lived in Quincy for five years before moving to Abington with her son Robert in 2004. Millie worked for the Stop & Shop Companies as a baker in Boston for thirty years. After retiring from Stop & Shop Millie went to work for the Meeting House Offices on Beacon Hill as a receptionist for eight years. Millie then began a career in her sixties in funeral service. She worked for the Long Home for Funerals in Cambridge, and was currently employed by Keohane Funeral Service in Quincy at the time of her death. Millie was a devoted mother, sister and grandmother. Her son Bobby and his wife Cheryl and their daughters Mackenzie Lea and Kasie Marie were the center of her life. She was a devout Catholic and was a long time parishioner at St. Margaret’s Church in Dorchester. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
