Germain, Michele L. “Shelly” of Rockland, formerly of Quincy, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, April 18, 2016.
Shelly was the heart of the Germain family throughout her 50 years of blessed life. A proud “Red Raider”, she attended North Quincy High School. A born entertainer, Shelly loved to sing, dance, and perform in front of a crowd, or just her immediate family. She was loved by everyone that met her and cared deeply for her friends and family. She possessed that unique quality of bringing joy into people’s lives. A talented cook, each recipe was made special with her secret ingredient, “Love”. She was always happy, fun-loving, kindhearted, and a natural caregiver who lived life to the fullest.
Devoted daughter to the late Charles F. Germain and Mona (McLean) Germain. Loving sister of John Germain and his wife Lynda of Rockland, Anne Foley and her late husband John of Brockton, Steven Germain of Brockton, Phyliss Germain of Rockland, and Paul Germain and his wife Kathy of CT. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday from 8:30-10:00 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Cremation to follow.
Donations in memory of Michele may be made to Special Olympics Massachusetts, 512 Forest Street, Marlborough, MA 01752 or The Salvation Army, 6 Baxter St., Quincy, MA 02169.
