Michael A. Travers, Jr.

Michael A. Travers, Jr. of East Weymouth, died July 30, 2024 at the age of 42, after a period of failing health. 

Ever since he was a child, Michael had a soft spot in his heart for animals. He enjoyed meeting new people and was quick to make connections with others. He will be remembered for his kindness and generosity. 

He was the cherished son of Michael A. and Peggy Travers of Weymouth. Loving brother of Howard B. Holloway and his wife Sandi of Townsend and Cheri R. Shangold of Whitman. Loving uncle of Shauna, Jillian, Myah, Kaleigh, and Zach. Also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles, and his canine companion Kai. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Burial at a later date.
