Michael T. Coughlin

Mr. Michael T. Coughlin, of Quincy, passed away on November 25, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of  Laurie  D. (Demong) Coughlin.

Loving father of Kristin C. Collins and her husband, Sean, of Milton, Daniel D. Coughlin of Quincy, and Allison C. Cutrone and her husband, Arthur, of New York, NY. Brother of Thomas Keim of San Antonio, TX, Timothy Coughlin of San Diego, CA, Patrick Coughlin of Santa Fe, NM, Margaret Beardsley of Phoenix, AZ, and the late Catherine Coughlin. Proud Grandfather of Louisa and Claire Collins. Also survived and loved by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in law, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Michael proudly served the Commonwealth of Massachusetts during his 30 year career. He was raised in Phoenix, AZ and loved spending time in the outdoors, hiking and swimming. Michael was a calm and steady presence to all who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery, and his family will host a reception in Boston after the burial.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, www.jimmyfund.org. Please label donations in memory of Michael Coughlin who was under the care of Dr. Geoffrey Oxnard.
