Michael W. Malone, of Haverhill, formerly of Quincy, died suddenly on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill. He was 52.

Michael was born in Boston on August 7, 1972, and was the son of the late John S. and Kathleen (O'Brien) Malone. He was raised in South Boston and Dorchester and was a graduate of Southie High School.

Michael worked as a painter in the carpentry industry for many years. He was hardworking and determined, always giving his best in everything he did. His dedication to his work earned him the respect of those around him.

Outside of work, Michael loved spending time fishing and enjoyed following sports. He was always up for a good game or a day out on the water.

Michael was a man who valued family, hard work, and the simple things in life. He will be remembered for his strong character, his drive, and his love for his family and friends.

Michael was the father of Peter M. Malone of Scituate, and the former husband Kendra Smith and her husband Bob of Stoughton. He was the brother of the late John Malone Jr. Michael was the nephew of Brian Malone and his wife Sandra of Quincy, and Joanne Campo and her late husband Peter of West Roxbury. He was the cousin of Brian Malone Jr. and his wife Andrea of Braintree, Patrick Malone of Quincy, Michelle Chaves and her husband Matt of New Hampshire, Sean Malone and his wife Stacey of Mississippi, Scott Malone of Marshfield, Peter Campo of Framingham, and Lisa Campo of Framingham. He was the uncle of Molly Malone of Fall River and Kelly Malone of Fall River.

Following cremation, Michael's funeral services will be held privately at a later date.
