Michael M. “Mike” Melanson

MELANSON, Michael (Mike) M. 44, of Quincy, August 16, 2012. Devoted father of James, Daniel, Edward, and Anne Melanson of Westford and beloved son of Carolyn and the late Edward Melanson, Sr., of Quincy. Much loved brother of Karen Melanson of Laguna Hills, CA, Edward L. Melanson, Jr. of Denver, CO, and Paul Melanson of Syracuse, NY and uncle of Samantha Melanson, US Army, Germany, and Nickolaus Melanson, US Air Force, England. A graduate of North Quincy High School in 1986 and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1991, Mike was employed by AMR Research of Boston as VP of Information Technology until 2010 and most recently as Director of Information of Technology for Triple S in Billerica. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, September 7 from 4-8 PM at the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Keohane Funeral Home on Saturday, September 8 at 9:15 AM, followed by a funeral mass at St . Ann’s Church, 757 Hancock St, Quincy at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Road, Medford. In lieu of flowers, donations in the memory of Mike may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation, www.epilepsyfoundation.org.
