Michael J. Powers Iii

Michael J. Powers, III of Hull, MA died on April 4, 2014.

He was born to the late Michael and Edith (Dowell) Powers on February 15, 1944 in East Bridgewater, MA.  Michael graduated from East Bridgewater High School in 1963.  He received a degree from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture in landscape contracting and following that made his career in landscaping and fencing.  He married Carrie Jane Powers in 1969.  They raised their two children, Michael and Christen, in Duxbury, MA before he relocated to Hull in 1995.  Michael enjoyed anything outdoors; playing tennis, golf, basketball, running, time at the beach and clamming in Duxbury Bay, but most of all he loved his family and friends. 

Michael Powers is survived by his son Michael and his wife Pamela of Whitefish, Montana and daughter Christen Powers and her husband Dave Wymer of Sterling Heights, Michigan.  Brother of Jo-Ann Whitmore of Manchester, NH, Judith Currier of Brockton, MA and Richard Powers of Kensington, NH. Papa of Isabel and Quinn Powers and Ethan and Brianna Wymer as well as uncle to many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, April 12 in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. Hingham (off Central St.) from 10am-12pm followed by a Funeral Service at 12 Noon.
