Michael J. Kane of Braintree, formerly of South Boston died unexpectedly on December 18, 2021, he was 61. The beloved husband and best friend of Claire (Capeless) Kane of Braintree. Father of Joseph Kane and his wife Cassie of Manchester, NH. Son of the late Joseph and Frances (Allix) Kane. Brother of Jean Bergeron of Quincy, Kathleen Kane of Pembroke, Steven Kane of Dorchester and Kelly Kane and her husband Dana Kelly of RI. Son in Law of the late Claire (Logan) Capeless. Brother in Law of Carole and Fred Kohler of Randolph, Pam Capeless and her late husband Jimmy of Randolph, Mary Manchon of NH, Paul MacCormack and his late wife Nancy (Capeless) of Randolph, Paul and Ann Capeless of Braintree, Steven and Kathie Capeless of Weymouth and Margaret Capeless of Wrentham. Uncle of Coleen Bruno, Christopher Bergeron, Patrick and Jake Kelly, Mackenzie Kane, Colleen Capeless, Amy and Meghan MacCormack, Hillary Capeless, Brittany Appleby, Marc and Michael Manchon, Christopher and David Kohler. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).
Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 11:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree at 12 noon.
Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Friend of Bill W for 29 years.
