Michael J. Flanagan

Flanagan, Michael J. of South Boston, died March 26, 2023. He was 44.

Michael, who some of you may know as Fliff, was a man that would light up any room he walked into. He loved Boston sports teams, especially the Bruins. Michael was the type of man that if you need help, he would be the first one there. He had a wide range taste in music. If there is good music playing, you would find him on the dance floor. Anything that had to do with having fun, Michael was along for he ride . Just being surrounded by family and friends is what gave him the most joy. More than anything, he adored and loved his sweet daughter, Madison. He was an extremely caring and compassionate person. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Loving son of Michael and Judith (Chuminski) Flanagan. Cherished father of Madison Flanagan. Doting brother of Kevin Flanagan and his wife Sonya , Jill Robblee and her husband Jayson (Robes), Kim Flanagan, Matt Flanagan and his wife Nikki. Caring boyfriend to Stacey Yerra and her children Cassie and Charlie Whitman. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, Elizabeth (Bitsy), Jace, Nolan, Dylan & Ellie.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be private. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s name may be made to Gilly’s House, a non-profit sober house for men.
