Eacobacci, Michael J., a lifelong resident of Weymouth, died September 21, 2016 at the age of 97.

Michael, born on September 7, 1919, was the son of the late Joseph and Josephine Eacobacci. Husband of the late Evelyn (Vicini) Eacobacci. Loving father of Judith E. Corbett and husband Deacon Francis of Weymouth and the late Michael J. Eacobacci, Jr. and his wife Jane of Dennisport. Brother of the late Vito, Dominic, Ernie, Albert and Louis Eacobacci; and Lucy Baldassini, Phyllis Nicoletti, and Anna Avitable. Grandfather of Christopher J. Corbett and his wife Eileen, Gregory F. Corbett and his wife Elizabeth, Timothy P. Corbett and his wife Muriel, Cara Corbett Rinaldi and her husband Matthew, Michael Eacobacci, III and his wife Kathryn, John Eacobacci and his wife Danielle, and Brian Eacobacci and his wife Danielle. Step grandfather of David Barber and his wife Pam and Jenny Barber. Also survived by 22 great grandchildren, his sister-in-law Eileen Vicini, and many faithful and loving nieces and nephews.

Mike was born and raised in Weymouth, graduated from Weymouth High School, and pursued a career in the printing and newspaper industry. He worked at the Hingham Ammunition Depot and dedicated his career for over 40 years to the Quincy Patriot Ledger as a printer and foreman of the composing room. He was an active member of the Weymouth Sons of Italy Lodge, and enjoyed their social and cultural gatherings. He loved his Friday nights at the Lodge. As a lifelong parishioner of Immaculate Conception Parish in Weymouth, he served as an usher and greeter until he was 80 years old. Mike was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and was deeply proud of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10:15 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 11:30 AM. Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth.

Donations in memory of Mike may be made to Immaculate Conception Church Music Ministry, 1203 Commercial St., Weymouth, MA 02189.
