Michael J. Coleman

Michael J. Coleman, of Weymouth, age 73, died peacefully at home on April 14, 2013.

Michael was appointed Clerk Magistrate of the Boston Municipal Court (Civil Division) in 1977 by then Governor Michael Dukakis  and served in that position until his retirement. He loved walking, and vacationing on Cape Cod. But most of all he loved his family they meant the world to him. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him. Michael proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army.

Beloved husband of Mary Louise ( Connor) Coleman. Loving father of Michelle A. Collins and Sean P. Coleman both of Hingham, Allison C. Muirhead and Jennifer A. Ross  both of Hanover and (8) grandchildren whom he loved very much. Brother of Katherine Coleman of Osterville and Martin Coleman of Milton. He was the devoted son of the late Martin and Nora (Crehan) Coleman.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.)  Funeral Mass to be held in St. Jerome’s Church, Weymouth on Friday at 11:00 AM. Burial with Military Honors in Old Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
