Michael J. Callahan

Callahan, Michael J. of Weymouth, passed away November 27, 2023. Mike was born and raised in Weymouth. After a 4 year carpentry apprenticeship, Mike earned the golden hammer award for his proficiency as a carpenter. He was a 30 year member of The Carpenters Local Union 218. Mike enjoyed boating, fishing and just being by the ocean. Beloved husband of late Heather Joyce Callahan. Loving brother of Joseph J. Callahan, his wife Colleen and their children, all of Braintree. Dear son in law of Jean Joyce of Weymouth. Mike was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Susan Callahan. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday, December 8, 9 AM-12 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, December 8, at 12 PM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home.
