Benedini, Michael J. of No. Marshfield, formerly of Quincy, November 17, 2006. Husband of the late Antoinette Benedini. Devoted father of Barbara and her husband Mark Ahern of No. Marshfield. Loving grandfather of Paul Ahern and his wife Ondine, and Christianne and her husband Mark Hendriksen. Cherished great-grandfather of Michael, Jillian, and Jenna Hendriksen, and Kelly, Sydney, and Darcy Ahern. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Tuesday at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4 – 8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in memory of Michael J. Benedini may be made to Immaculate Conception Building Fund, 3 Fayette St., Lowell, MA 01852. Born in VT, Michael lived most of his life in Quincy before moving to N. Marshfield 12 years ago. Michael was a welder and worked at the Fore River Shipyard following the war for 10 years then worked for Metal-Made Products in Allston for over 40 years, retiring in 1975. He loved to travel and was a wonderful craftsman, with a specialty in woodworking. Michael was very proud of his daughter, grandchildren and great-children and loved spending time with them.
