Michael F. Meehan

Meehan, Michael F., 52, of Weymouth, formerly of North Quincy and Marshfield, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 5, 2010 at South Shore Hospital. He was the devoted father of Brielle,Brendan and Matthew all of Marshfield. Son of the late Warren R. Meehan Sr. and Margaret T. Meehan-Doyle and stepson of the late William A. Doyle. Loving brother of Warren Meehan and his wife Joan, Jack Meehan and his wife Marina, Bob Meehan and his wife Maureen and James Meehan and his wife Karen all of Marshfield. Michael is also survived by 6 nieces and nephews, Nicole, Marina, Brian, Jonathan, Jennifer and Kevin Meehan all of Marshfield. Step-brother of Marie Doyle of Hingham and the late Paul Doyle. Nephew of Bernice Gallagher, Phyllis Doyle and Marie Meehan, all of Quincy. Michael was the loving companion of Lori Ring of Bridgewater. He is also survived by many cousins across the South Shore. Michael was born and raised in Quincy and is a 1975 graduate of North Quincy High School and Quincy College. He worked in sales for various companies in the Boston area. Michael was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed all sports, but especially those of his children. He could be seen and heard cheering on the sidelines at all their sporting events. His quick wit and sense of humor will be missed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Friday, April 09, 2010 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Saturday, April 10, 2010 prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private.
