Michael F. Hopkins

Michael F. Hopkins of Quincy, died suddenly on March 29, 2020 at the age of 60, one day shy of his 61st birthday.

Mike worked as a driver for Fallon Ambulance and was a past Exalted Ruler at the Weymouth-Braintree Lodge of Elks #2232. Mike enjoyed fishing, bowling and was an avid Patriots and Bruins fan.

He was the cherished son of Claire Hopkins of Braintree and the late Andrew Hopkins. Brother of Steve Hopkins of Braintree; Linda Picciano of Tampa, FL; John Hopkins and and his wife Michelle of Holbrook; Brian P. Hopkins and and his wife Jeanine of Braintree; Diane Hopkins of Braintree; and Paul Hopkins and his fiance Shannon Perry of Hanover. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mike may be made to the American Heart Association, 300 5th Ave., Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02451.

Normally, the funeral is an opportunity for the community to gather in support of one another. Although we cannot gather together with Mike’s family at this time, friends may still offer their support by sharing a special memory or message by clicking the link above.
