Michael E. Saccoach, of Quincy, died peacefully on Friday, November 5, 2021 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Milton Hospital. He was 69.
Born in Quincy on May 24, 1952, he was the son of the late Bernard and Helen (Breen) Saccoach. Michael attended local schools and graduated from Quincy High School with the Class of 1970. He worked as a machinist with Long Island Pipe for many years and enjoyed his work.
Michael was the beloved husband of Anna Nelson of Quincy, with whom he shared 46 loving years. He was the devoted father of Tanya J. Ahrens and her husband Skip Lumpkin of Weymouth. Michael was the loving grandfather of Kayla Ahrens and her partner Trevor Thayer, and Shawn Lumpkin, all of Weymouth. He was the dear brother of Catherine O’Brien of CA, Audrey McGowan of Quincy, Debbie Applegate of RI and the late Helen Dion, Margaret Malone, Bernard (Frank) Saccoach, Arthur Saccoach, Carol Westhaver and Karen Saccoach. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday, November 12, 2021, 3-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.
His funeral services and interment will be held privately.
