Michael D. Gallagher

Mr. Michael D. Gallagher,  of Hull, died August 7, 2016.

Michael worked for the Dept of Revenue from 1971-2010, retiring as the Deputy Chief of the Audit Division.  He always enjoyed traveling with his family and friends. Michael enjoyed golfing, the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots, and Boston College football.  When his children were younger he coached their Hull Youth Soccer and Softball teams. He also served on the Hull School Commitee from 1991-1997. His pride and joy in life was his beautiful family and always enjoying the special times with his four beautiful grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Beloved husband of Denise M. (Vardaro) Gallagher of Hull. Loving father of Maura Jones and her husband Mathew and Chrissy Ramos and her husband Nazario, all of Hull and the late Alison Gallagher. Son of the late Alfred and Mary (Kelly) Gallagher. Brother of Maureen Schwede and her husband Joseph of Hyannis and Port Charlotte, FL, Eileen Gallagher of Hull, and the late Kathleen Daley and Stephen Gallagher. Proud Grandfather of Michael, Brianna, Maggie, and Dominick. Lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery.
