Michael A. Crowley, of Weymouth, passed away surrounded by his loving family on July 9, 2024. He was 74 years of age.
Michael was born and raised in Lynn, a son of the late Albert and Clare (Hogan) Crowley.
As an Executive in the Insurance Industry for over 45 years he built many strong relationships. Michael started his career at Kemper Insurance, where he met his wife, and retired from Travelers Insurance in 2019.
His most important role in life was being a father and grandfather to three sons and five grandchildren. He was a role model and mentor, spending many years coaching baseball and hockey. Michael was always so generous to his family; he would do anything for them to show his love.
Michael enjoyed vacationing with his wife and his neighbors to Aruba, the Dominican Republic and Miami. He has many fond memories from Ann Arbor, MI and Lake Winnipesaukee where he spent many summer vacations.
Michael was proud of his Irish heritage, meticulous wardrobe and his Golden Retrievers. He was a man of style with his double breasted suits, monogrammed shirts, and colorful pocket squares.
Two days prior to his passing, Michael and his wife hosted his family for a pool party. He spent the morning prepping pool floats and picking up food in preparation to host his sons and grandchildren. While it was one of Michael’s final days, it was one of his happiest days to have his family over. Beloved husband of Deborah A. (Turpel) Crowley of Weymouth.
Loving father of Brendan Crowley of Weymouth, Christopher Crowley and his wife, Leah of Cohasset, and Ryan Crowley and his wife, Brooke, of Woburn. Brother of Kathleen Sweeney of Lynnfield, Maryellen Kobierski of Beverly, Stephen Crowley of Ann Arbor, MI, Carol Condon of Norwood and the late Patricia Crowley.
Cherished Papa of Riley, Maren, Emma, Michael, and Graeme.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).
