Michael P. Cronin

Michael Patrick Cronin, of Weymouth, a man known for his quick wit and inappropriate comments, passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 60. 

Michael was the beloved husband of Tracy Cronin (Hathaway) of Weymouth, with whom he shared a life full of laughter and mutual support. Loving father to Raeanna Cronin of Bridgewater, Robert Cronin, and Kyle Cronin, both of Weymouth. A cherished Papa to Isabella Barrett and Riley Cronin. Devoted son of Maureen and the late Robert Cronin of Quincy. Michael was also a dear brother to Stephen Cronin of Quincy, Darylyn McGrath and her husband Joseph of Pembroke, and he held close, the memory of his late brother, Daniel Cronin. Michael is survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Michael proudly served his country as a United States Marine, a chapter of his life that shaped his unwavering commitment to duty and honor. Following his military service, he dedicated 37 years to Verizon as a Cable Splice Technician.

Michael was a lover of sports whether playing or watching. As the life of the party Michael enjoyed his tunes and dancing alongside his dear friends.

Please join us in celebrating Michael’s life on November 24, 2024 at the Tirrell Room, 254 Quarry Street, Quincy MA. from 1:00pm-5:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
