Michael Charles O’Connor, 40, of South Weymouth and formerly of Milton, Massachusetts. September 3, 2018. 

Beloved husband of Cristine O’Connor (Zappone). Dedicated father of Owen, Lucas, Sophie, and Hannah. Cherished son of Rita M. (O’Neill) and Michael C. O’Connor of Milton. Devoted son in-law to Darlene and David Plavchak and Raymond and Donna Zappone. Dear brother of Tara M. Walsh and her husband, Robert M. Walsh, Orla T. O’Connor and her husband Bernard J. O’Connor, and Christopher J. O’Connor and his fiancé Maria A. Kelly. Loving brother in law of Allison M. Smith and her husband, Kevin J. Smith, Sarah Plavchak, and Michelle Plavchak. Adored uncle of Declan, Brenna, Ellie, Rory, Annie, Sadie Noelle, Brynlee, and Emma.

Michael was born on August 21, 1978. He graduated from Milton High School in 1997. Michael went on to Northeastern University where he met the love of his life, Cristine. Michael and Cristine were married on July 3, 2005. Together they welcomed 4 beautiful children into the world. Michael’s greatest accomplishment and pride were his children. He was their provider, protector, coach, friend, confidant, and biggest fan. Michael was a great friend to so many and will be missed dearly by his friends and family.

Michael is survived by his Ta, Anthony J. Spizzo and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Michael was predeceased by his grandmothers, Mary O’Neill of Muckross, Co. Kerry and Theresa O’Connor of Doocarrig, Co. Kerry, his uncle Brendan O’Connor, his cousin Noel O’Connor, and his cousin Finn McCarthy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square).

Relatives and friends are invited to gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM.

Burial in Milton Cemetery, Milton.
