Michael B. Sullivan

Sullivan, Michael B. of Quincy, died December 6, 2023.  

Michael was born in South Boston and moved to Quincy when he was 10 years old, where he lived the rest of his life. He graduated from North Quincy High School and was an avid Boston sports fan, especially the Red Sox. He worked as a longtime server for Gourmeli’s Restaurant in the Boston Marriott, where he met many celebrities and sports players, and for The Hilltop Steak House. Michael was a very spiritual person and his faith was important to him. He was a kind and gentle soul who was always smiling. Everyone loved him and he will be greatly missed. 

Beloved son of Dorothy of Quincy and the late Martin Sullivan, Jr. Cherished brother of Martin Sullivan, III and his wife Doreen of Hanover, Michelle Newcomb and her husband Keith of Hull, Kevin Sullivan and his wife Susan of Danvers, and the late Joanne “Jody” Sullivan and her surviving husband Ricky DeBellis. Loving nephew of Pat Lescinskas, Midge Tobias (Michael’s Godmother), and Peggy Hennessey. Devoted uncle of Julieann, Marty, Bailey, Jake, Sean, Eric, Madison and also survived by many dear cousins. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Michael may be made to Father Bill’s & MainSpring, 430 Belmont St., Brockton, MA 02301.
