Michael Arsenault

ARSENAULT, Michael of Quincy, age 52, passed peacefully March 13, 2016 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Brighton surrounded by his beloved family.

Beloved son of Barbara (McCaffrey) Graham of Pembroke and the late Joseph Arsenault. Cherished brother of Karen King and husband Bruce of Kingston, Jaime Dwyer and husband Matthew of Pembroke and the late Joseph Arsenault. Devoted uncle “Unky Monkey” of Laurie Picot, Michael Picot and wife Andrea, Joseph Dwyer, Allison Dwyer and Nicole Lipnick. Great uncle of Michael Joseph Picot, Nolan Picot, Joseph Lipnick and his adored doggie nephews Max and the late Diezel. Special friend to many, especially Lisa Aprea. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Michael, a former lobsterman and roofer had been employed as a painter for the last several years. Proficient at many things, he was known as a jack of all trades.

Michael loved camping and the ocean, an avid fisherman – happiest with a fishing rod in his hand and a dog by his side. He had a huge heart and an enormous sense of humor. Often told by many “you are the funniest person I know”. With his quick wit, he always kept friends, relatives and even strangers laughing. He enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends and will be greatly missed by all. The world was a better place with him in it.

Visiting hours are Friday, March 18, 4-8 pm at the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Life celebration service will be held Saturday, March 19, at 11 am at the Keohane Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are kindly invited and will be welcomed to share their fondest memories and best Michael stories. In reflection of Michael’s deep love for animals, especially Max, Diezel, Chaucer & ZuZu, donations in his memory may be made to the MSPCA Chaucer & ZuZu Senior Pet Fund.
