Michael A. Craig

Craig, Michael A. of South Weymouth, died March 26, 2014.

Mike was born and raised in Quincy and has lived in South Weymouth for 39 years. He was currently the plumbing inspector for the Town of Weymouth, a position he has held for over 10 years after working in the plumbing industry for many years. Mike was an avid football fan, cherishing the Sunday football games watched at his shed with family and friends. He also enjoyed kayaking and cooking. Mike was blessed with a close knit family and great friends, all of whom he was very proud. He will be sadly missed. 

Beloved husband of 39 years to Denise R. (Sawtelle) Craig of South Weymouth. Devoted father of Christian Craig and his wife Lizzy of Vermont and Jeff Craig and his wife Caitlin of South Weymouth. Cherished “Papa” of Olivia, Charlotte and Addison. Loving son of Irene (DeGust) Craig of Carver and the late Victor Craig. Dear brother of Richard Craig and his companion Tina O’Neill of Manomet, Paul Craig and his companion Nancy Vida of Michigan, Maureen Masley and her husband Ed of South Weymouth, Trisha Forst and her husband Ian of Carver and the late Gregory Craig and his widow Nancy of New Jersey. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
