Michael A. Burkard

Michael A. Burkard of Weymouth, formerly of Whitman, died suddenly November 1, 2014 at the age of 36.

Mike was a former employee of Barcellos and Kane Landscaping where he worked for 11 years. He was creative, artistic, and enjoyed caring for animals. He will be remembered as opinionated and for his infectious sense of humor.

Cherished son of Virginia Burkard of Rockland and Michael Burkard of Weymouth. Loving brother of Dan Burkard of Rockland, Caitlin Burkard of Taunton, and Chris Burkard of Rockland. Loving uncle of Christopher Chadwick. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street).  A Celebration of Life Service will be on Friday at 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
