Meredith F. Morrison

Morrison, Meredith F. (Wall) “Merry” of Quincy, reluctantly died on March 6th.  

Merry was married to the late Lyle D. Morrison, Jr.  She is missed by her family- her children; Debbie Morrison of Quincy, Lyle D. Morrison III & Andrea Serpa Morrison of Lexington, Brenda Morrison & James Keane of Wareham, Paula Rowe & Larry Rowe of Quincy and Jeffry Morrison and Betty Morrison of Cohasset.  Merry’s grandchildren;  Austin, Morgan, Lyle D, Sam, Julia, Cole & Charlotte. Merry is the sister of Sandy & Mike Delahunt of Marshfield,  Phil & Jeanne Wall of Mansfield and Valarie Robertson. She is the daughter of the late Geraldine and late Phillip N. Wall of Quincy.  She has many nieces and nephews. 

Merry enthusiastically raised her family of five after being widowed at age 30. She embraced every aspect of parenting but especially enjoyed driving a station wagon full of kids to various sporting events. She was a daily baker, had 4 hour turnaround service on laundry and an immaculate home.   Most of all Merry enjoyed her grandchildren- each one held a special delight for her. Merry enjoyed monitoring weather reports and loved a good storm.  She loved peppermint patties and Barbara Streisand. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 3-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Quincy at 11 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
