Maxwell M. Brenton

Brenton, Maxwell M. of Quincy, passed away April 9, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Gloria (Reid) Brenton. Devoted father of Gloria R. Esdale and her husband Stephen of Walpole, Matthew Brenton and his wife Mary of Quincy, Erin Kate Bonnivier and the late Richard and Wayne Brenton. Loving brother of Al Follen of Roslindale, Roy Brenton of Braintree, Geraldine Atherton of FL, Derek Brenton of Randolph, Albert Brenton of Medfield, John Brenton of Halifax and the late Gordon, Bert and Frank Brenton, Helen Follen, Doris, Gordon and Roberta Brenton. Cherished grandfather of Jessica, Stephen, Daniel, Cali and Cheri. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Maxwell was a District Deputy of the 4th Masonic District and was also active in the Shriners. As a proud father and grandfather his main source of joy was being surrounded by his family. His will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Wednesday at 7 PM. Burial in Glenwood Cemetery, Everett at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Maxwell may be made to Jimmy Fund, 1309 Beacon Street, Brookline, MA 02446.
