Dear friend of Mary “Queenie” Joyce and the Tolson brothers and sisters of Randolph. Maureen stayed at home to raise her children, then worked for several years in the Hingham School System before finding her true love of caring for others when she went to work for the Welch Companies at Allerton House in Hingham as assistant recreation director. It was “My Place” to Maureen because she fell in love with the residents and them with her. She loved to travel. She and her husband went to Europe annually. She had a particular love for London and Rome and the many relatives they had in Ireland on their frequent trips there. Maureen cherished life, had a profound faith in God, and all who were blessed to have known her are lessened by her loss. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
