Maureen L. O’Brien

O’Brien, Maureen L. of Weymouth, passed away March 24, 2021. Maureen was born and raised in South Boston, daughter of the late John and Catherine O’Brien. She graduated from Archbishop Cushing Central High School, Class of 1958. Maureen worked for many years as an Airfreight Manager for TWA and American Airlines where she developed lifelong relationships with many of her co-workers. She was an avid reader, collector of Irish Crystal, and loved to travel extensively throughout the world.

Maureen is survived by her nieces and nephews, John (Marya) O’Brien of Abington, Marjorie (d. Craig) Bonzagni of Plymouth, Lorraine (Leo) Galvin of Abington, Lawrence O’Brien of Weymouth, Daniel O’Brien of Weymouth and Catherine O’Brien of Great Falls, MT. She is predeceased by her brother, the late John J. O’Brien Jr. and his late wife Marjorie. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service on Monday in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles St. (corner of Charles & Middles Streets), Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston. For those who cannot gather together with Maureen’s family at this time, friends may still offer their support by clicking the link above and sharing a special memory or message.
